What is Manatí Park?
Discover the first ever theme park and dolphinaria in Dominican Republic. Founded in 1996, Manatí Park is the home of the largest animal collection in the country. The park houses more than 150 species, and you’ll be able to enjoy five different shows designed for you and your family! We also have two beautiful natural wells in which you can enjoy a bath. Do not forget that you’ll be able to swim with our dolphins as well!
Are there any restrictions I have to take on account?
In order to join the Swim with Dolphins Experience you have to be at least 120 cms tall and to have prior swimming experience.
Do I have to book in advance?
We do recommend you to book in advance in order not to keep queue at the door, even if it is not needed. If you want to join the Swim with Dolphins Experience yes, you do have to book in advance as groups are closed
Where can I buy my tickets?
You can also reach us in every hotel in Bávaro, Punta Cana, La Romana and Bayahive via the best touroperator or our own vendors. Do not hesitate to contact them to buy your tickets. You can also reach us at firstname.lastname@example.org
How can I get to Manatí Park?
Manatí Park is located right in the heart of Bávaro, near many of the hotels. Our buses will pick you up in your hotel every two hours and they are free! Once you’ve finished your visit they’ll take you back to your hotel. If you need any further information ask in your hotel or send us an email to email@example.com
What do I have to take to the park?
We recommend you to wear casual or sport clothes and shoes. Do not forget to bring your swimsuit even if you’re not going to join the Swim with Dolphins Experience: you’ll probably want to enjoy a bath in our natural wells. Sunscreen, sunglasses and money are also a must!
Can I have something to eat at the Park?
Sure, there are some beverages and food facilities at the park.
Can I take pictures during my visit?
We recommend you to bring your own photo camera although there are some areas were its use is restricted. Our professional photographers will document your visit and you’ll be able to purchase tour photos if you wish to do so.
What does Manatí Park do for the animals?
Manati Park tries to encourage the preservation of the species through several education and investigation projects. Visit the Social Commitment section if you wish to know more.
